Job summary

slihrms is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You'll build robust data pipelines and enable data-driven decision-making for diverse client projects.

You will work in a fast-paced agile environment with some on-site work at client sites, using ADF, Databricks, Synapse, and ADLS. The role requires strong SQL and Python/Scala skills and collaboration with stakeholders across domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
• Experience with data pipelines and Azure data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions on Azure.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
• Manage and enhance data lakes, data warehouses, and data storage solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and database objects for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Implement CI/CD practices and support deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data platform and pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of Azure data technologies.
