Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is hiring an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and operate scalable Azure-based data pipelines for diverse client domains. You will work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse and ADLS to deliver robust data solutions.

You will contribute to data lake and data warehouse management, optimize SQL performance, and implement governance, security, and CI/CD practices while collaborating with analysts and developers in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, data engineering or related field.
• Experience in Data Engineering, Database Development or Data Integration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions on Azure.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse.
• Manage data lakes, data warehouses, and data storage; optimize SQL queries and models.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance and compliance with standards.
• Implement CI/CD and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data platform and pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and developers on data-driven solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and data dictionaries.
