Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced AWS migration lead to drive infrastructure and application migrations from design through execution. You will run discovery, map dependencies, and define wave-based migration plans aligned with programme objectives.

You will design target AWS architectures, coordinate with delivery and security teams, and support migration execution using AWS tooling. This role requires hands-on discovery and multi-wave experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record driving AWS migrations end-to-end.
• Hands-on discovery experience essential for planning migrations.
• Experience across multiple migration waves within programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of AWS migration solutions for infra and apps.
• Run discovery exercises to assess current state, dependencies and risks.
• Translate findings into migration designs and wave plans.
• Design target state AWS architectures across compute, storage, networking and security.
• Support execution of migrations using MGN, DMS, and App Migration Service.
