Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale digital services within a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across development, test, staging, and production.

The role requires strong experience with AWS services, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and modern architectures including React front-ends, microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS cloud environments and cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage AWS infra for React front-ends, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka integrations.
• Support ETL and RPA integrations.
• Implement secure networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Manage API Gateway deployments and IAM roles for teams.
• Ensure resources are tagged and governed per FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infra and deployment issues across clouds.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices.
