Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions, using React front-ends, microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven integrations.

Qualifications

Experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
Experience with modern architectures including React front-ends, microservices, and serverless functions.
Familiarity with event-driven integrations and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
Manage AWS infra supporting React front-ends, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
Support ETL and RPA integrations.
Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
Manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway deployments.
Administer MFA and IAM roles/permissions for developers.
Ensure resources are tagged and governed per FinOps standards.
Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
Troubleshoot infra and deployment issues across clouds.
Contribute to cloud security improvements and accessibility compliance.
