Job summary

ABL Recruitment seeks an Automotive Technical Support Specialist to deliver field-based technical support and training to the dealership network across the South England. You will work remotely with occasional travel, providing expert customer care and technical guidance to drive service quality and repeat business.

The role requires 5 years in automotive tech, Master Technician level qualification, and hands-on experience with hybrid/EV systems and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a technical automotive role.
• Master Technician or equivalent technical qualification required.
• Experience with diagnostic tooling and engineering logging equipment.
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide fully field-based technical support to the passenger car dealer network and create visit reports.
• Manage a caseload and liaise with engineers, escalating unresolved cases as needed.
• Support the technical training program by delivering presentations and seminars to on-site technicians.
• Create service bulletins and troubleshooting guides; assist Warranty Team with expert recommendations.
