Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proficient Remote Automotive Embedded Software Developer to join a forward‑looking engineering team. You will design, develop, and test embedded software for ECUs, body controllers, and infotainment systems, with emphasis on reliability and efficiency.

The role is fully remote, with collaboration across distributed teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in computer/electrical engineering and strong C/C++ and RTOS experience, plus familiarity with CAN/LIN/Automotive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven embedded software development experience, automotive preferred.
Strong C/C++ skills and RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications.
Design and optimize modules for performance and reliability in embedded systems.
Write clean, well-documented, testable code and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with system engineers and hardware developers to define software requirements.
Debug and troubleshoot embedded software remotely using diagnostic tools.
