Job summary

Tata Technologies Limited is recruiting a Software Engineer to be based at client site in Gaydon. You will develop embedded automotive software, translate requirements into design, implement, test and support integration.

You'll work within the ER&D function on automotive, aerospace and industrial machinery projects, applying C/C++ or MATLAB/Simulink and contributing to SIL/HIL activities and code reviews. On-site collaboration in a global team is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in software, electronics, control systems or automotive engineering.
• Embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ or MATLAB/Simulink development skills.
• Experience with requirements-based development, debugging and unit testing.
• Understanding of real-time embedded systems and vehicle communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyse software requirements and develop application-level designs.
• Implement embedded application software in C/C++ or model-based environments.
• Develop monitoring, state management, diagnostic and control functions.
• Create unit tests and support SIL and HIL validation.
• Integrate application software with platform services and interfaces.
• Debug defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain source code, configuration, traceability and technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and software quality activities.
• Support builds, releases and integration events.
