Job summary

Jagex, Cambridge, UK, is seeking an Automation Platform Engineer to build and evolve the shared automation and testing platform that underpins our development teams. You’ll work within a central Delivery Engineering group to deliver scalable harnesses across the SDLC and drive automation-first improvements.

The role requires strong programming skills (C#, Java, Python, Go or TS) and hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, and container tech.

Qualifications

• Experience designing automation platforms within a software engineering environment.
• Proven ability to deliver automated testing and development harnesses.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, IaC and cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale automation capabilities for engineering teams across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Develop automated testing frameworks across functional and non-functional areas.
• Improve automation frameworks and adopt modern tooling to stay ahead of industry practice.
• Provide reporting dashboards and KPIs on software quality and health.
