Job summary

Target Group is seeking an Arrears Executive to join our fully remote team in the United Kingdom. You will handle inbound and outbound conversations with customers in arrears, helping them find practical solutions with empathy and clear, supportive communication.

The role focuses on understanding each customer’s situation, reviewing income and expenditure, and setting sustainable payment plans while ensuring compliant, fair outcomes. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Arrears or Collections role.
• Experience supporting vulnerable customers in a regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers by phone and email to understand their situation.
• Discuss finances and review income/expenditure with customers.
• Agree realistic, sustainable payment plans to help customers get back on track.
• Provide calm, clear communication to reduce worry and build trust.
• Signpost to advice services and ensure fair outcomes.
• Work compliantly to deliver great customer experiences.
