Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager for London and Home Counties. The role is fully remote, focused on growing sales with stockists, contractors and installers across a designated territory. You will build long-term relationships and drive profitable growth.

Ideal candidates have proven external sales experience in plumbing/mechanical sectors, strong contractor networks and the ability to deliver demonstrations and technical training. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an external sales role within plumbing, heating, mechanical services or building services.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing/mechanical services distribution, contractors and installers.
• Experience selling technical products and developing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement territory sales plans to achieve targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across distribution, contractors and installers.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate terms to maximise conversions.
• Monitor market trends and customer requirements and feedback to Sales Director.
• Identify early-stage projects and manage them through to specification and installation.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical installation training to customers.
