Job summary

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to deliver clean, well-modelled datasets and scalable SQL transformations for analytics and reporting. You will work with Snowflake and Looker to build data models, optimise ELT/ETL processes, and ensure data is documented and ready for business insights.

You will collaborate with product engineering, data science, and analytics teams to shape source data, improve data modelling, and advance Looker as a core data product across the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Analytics/BI/Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Snowflake/Looker and other cloud data platforms.
• ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines experience.
• Python for automation is a plus.
• Experience with Looker API advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain clean, scalable data models and datasets using SQL.
• Develop and optimise SQL-based data transformation and ELT/ETL processes.
• Work with Snowflake and other cloud-based data platforms to support business-critical analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product engineering teams, and analytics engineers to meet downstream data requirements.
• Develop and optimise Looker datasets and dashboards to improve data accessibility and adoption.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and documentation across analytics datasets.
• Apply data modelling and warehousing best practices to deliver intuitive, denormalised, and aggregated datasets.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing data pipelines and transformations to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to the continued development and adoption of Looker as a core data product across the business.
