Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science with analytics focus.
• 5+ years as a Data Analyst, with substantial experience in agriculture.
• Proficiency in Python or R and data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, ML techniques, and predictive analytics.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large agricultural datasets from various sources.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for crop yields, resource usage, and environmental factors.
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to inform strategic decisions.
• Create insightful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with agronomists, researchers, and farm managers to translate data findings into practical applications.
