About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Remote Agricultural Data Analyst to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large agricultural datasets from various sources.
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze crop yields, resource usage, and environmental factors.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within agricultural data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Create insightful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with agronomists, researchers, and farm managers to translate data findings into practical applications.
- Monitor the performance of predictive models and refine them as necessary.
- Ensure data integrity and security protocols are maintained throughout the analysis process.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science with a focus on analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Analyst, with a significant portion focused on the agricultural industry .
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and relevant data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and predictive analytics.
