Job summary

Hometree Marketplace Limited is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to own day-to-day ledgers across multiple entities. You will work predominantly remotely with occasional travel to the Stoke-on-Trent office, processing ~1,000 supplier invoices per month and running weekly and month-end payments.

You’ll be supported to study (e.g., AAT) with a clear path to CIMA/ACCA as the group grows. This is a launchpad role to develop budgeting, reconciliation, and supplier relationship skills within a

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices: code and post ~1,000/month using Dext and ApprovalMax.
• Run supplier payments: manage weekly and month-end payments with approvals.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain master data.
• Own the aged creditors ledger and chase overdue items.
• Support CIS payments to subcontractors and help monthly CIS returns.
• Resolve supplier/payment queries professionally.
• Assist month-end close and related balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Support audits with organized documentation.
• Identify and implement AP process improvements with automation.
