Job summary

KION Group is seeking an ABU Project Engineer to help optimise customer material flows and drive cost savings. Based from home with UK&I travel and some European trips, you will support bids, validate budgets, and coordinate technical offers for STILL and Linde.

You will design logistics concepts, ensure technical specs meet needs, and mentor coordination with customers and factories on special requirements. A strong engineering background and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor, Master or Diploma degree in engineering, computer science, logistics or similar education.
IT Skill required including Autocad / MS Project.
Interest in complex technical interrelations.
Experience with industrial or logistic projects preferred.
Good communication skills in English, further languages preferred.
Willingness to travel.
International mindset.
Structured and solution-oriented working method.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the Portfolio of Projects in the UK&I for STILL and Linde.
Engineering & Design Support Sales in the offer phase and review of project scope.
Ensure specifications and configurations match customer needs for successful implementation.
Develop logistics concepts to set up AGV/AMR/VNA solutions.
Coordinate bid processes and manage deadlines with internal resources.
Support Project Managers post sale and provide technical support on projects.
Liaise with factories on special requirements and applications.
Conduct market surveys and competitive intelligence.
