Open Cosmos Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to strengthen IT operations.

You will handle escalated user issues across Windows, Linux, macOS and mobile OS, perform deeper infrastructure work, and drive continual improvements. The role includes administering Google Workspace, Entra ID, IAM, MFA/SSO, device compliance and patching, plus scripting to automate tasks.

issues across devices, networks, identity, and SaaS services, helping keep Open Cosmos running smoothly as we grow. You will: Own and resolve escalated issues across Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS/Android, networks, identity, and collaboration tools. Troubleshoot, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions. Meet SLAs and communicate clearly with users and stakeholders. Administer Google Workspace, SSO/IAM, MFA and support our migration to M365 and Entra ID. Manage endpoints using Intune/Jamf/MDM, including software packaging and secure baselines. Support LAN/WLAN/VPN/DNS/DHCP/firewall changes and monitoring liaise with providers as needed. Manage the full device lifecycle builds, replacements, RMAs and onboarding/offboarding. Contribute to deployments and upgrades (office builds, Wi‑Fi refresh, EDR rollouts, migrations). Improve automation, self‑service, reporting and monitoring through scripting and tooling. Champion security best practice across patching

hardening, device compliance, and access controls.

What You ll bring

Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, macOS, mobile OS and SaaS platforms.

Demonstrable ability in administering M365, Entra ID, IAM, MFA/SSO, device compliance, EDR/AV and patching.

Comfortable with ITSM/ticketing, change control and documentation.

Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell/Bash) is a plus.

Clear, confident communication skills translating technical concepts for non-technical users.

Subject‑matter expertise in at least one of the following:

• Microsoft tenant migrations
• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• SharePoint Administration
• JIRA Administration
• API integrations
• AI adoption
