Job summary

SRL Traffic Systems in Solihull is seeking a part-time REMOS Control Centre Operator to help keep traffic moving safely. You will monitor live conditions, respond to incidents, and support continuous improvement from our REMOS team.

The role offers 30 hours per week over 5 days, with shift patterns across morning and afternoon blocks, full training provided and the chance to grow with our expanding REMOS operation.

Qualifications

Strong IT and computer skills with live systems or monitoring experience.
Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Control room, monitoring, or operations experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Monitor live traffic conditions using cameras and mapping software.
Identify congestion, incidents, and potential issues early.
Respond quickly to maintain safe traffic flow.
Communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
Analyze traffic data to support improvements.
Provide general administrative support.
