SEED Environmental, part of the Celnor Group, seeks a Remediation Operative to join our contracts team in Exeter. You will undertake groundworks, building works, remediation, reinstatement and OFTEC works on site across various projects, upholding high standards of safety, quality and professionalism.

The role requires hands-on site experience in construction/remediation, ability to operate plant and machinery, and a flexible approach to travel when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on site in construction/remediation.
• Ability to operate plant and machinery.
• Ability to manage personal time to achieve high productivity.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Can-do attitude with adaptability in varied environments.
• Basic DBS check.
• Willingness to work away from home when necessary.

Responsabilités

• Carry out site works under supervision of SEED Remediation Team Leader, Contracts Manager and/or appropriate staff.
• Utilise your own initiative and knowledge where appropriate.
• Keep sites tidy, clean and safe, following daily checklists.
• Drive machinery and undertake hand-dig excavation for contamination removal.
• Support maintenance and servicing of equipment; raise awareness of faults.
• Assist with collecting photographs for documentation throughout works.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and RAMS documentation.
• Assist with spill response operations.
• Use power tools for intrusive construction works.
• Identify hazards and work safely in site environments.
• Attend training, toolbox talks and team meetings.
