Job summary

SEED Environmental in Doncaster is seeking a Remediation Technician/Engineer to join our Process Remediation Team. You will install, operate and maintain soil and groundwater remediation equipment on UK projects, with training provided and scope to develop your career.

The role is hands-on, outdoors, and involves UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays. Competitive salary of £35,000–£45,000 and a comprehensive benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Hands-on approach with good problem-solving and data recording.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and fault-finding on remediation equipment.
• Undertake groundwater, surface water and contaminated land monitoring activities.
• Collect environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
• Record monitoring data and system performance using digital systems.
• Support pumping tests, groundwater recovery exercises and remediation trials.
• Work alongside drilling contractors, tanker operators and specialist subcontractors.
• Maintain remediation equipment and prepare systems for deployment from the workshop and yard.
• Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, contractors and colleagues on site.
• Support the successful delivery of remediation projects across the UK.
