Job summary

SEED Environmental, part of the Celnor Group, is recruiting a Remediation Technician/Engineer to join the Process Remediation Team in Doncaster with nationwide travel. The role involves installing, operating and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation systems across the UK, delivering environmental improvements using specialist technologies.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Practical and hands-on approach to work.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
• Confident using hand tools and carrying out installation or maintenance activities.
• Competent IT skills and ability to record data accurately.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and fault-finding activities on remediation equipment.
• Undertake groundwater, surface water and contaminated land monitoring activities.
• Collect environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
• Record monitoring data and system performance using digital systems.
• Assist with pumping tests, groundwater recovery exercises and remediation trials.
• Work alongside drilling contractors, tanker operators and specialist subcontractors.
• Maintain remediation equipment and prepare systems for deployment from the workshop and yard.
• Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, contractors and colleagues on site.
• Support the successful delivery of remediation projects across the UK.
