Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking an experienced Carpenter for a remedial fire-door project in Brighton (BN1). You will work on approximately 12 internal fire doors within occupied residential properties, followed by external fire-barrier and cladding works.

A Blue CSCS card is required, with BIM TRADA/FIRAS accreditation preferred. You must provide your own hand and power tools, including a trim/flush router, and be able to work with minimal disruption to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in remedial or fire-door works.
• Experience with remedial works on existing fire doors in occupied properties.
• Blue CSCS card required as minimum.
• BM TRADA or FIRAS accreditation preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete remedial works to existing fire doors.
• Carry out repairs on fire doors within occupied properties.
• Route and fit fire strips where required.
• Work on internal fire-door remedial phase and external fire-barrier/cladding works.
• Record works using digital reporting system.
• Maintain tidy, safe work areas and comply with site procedures.
