Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced fire door carpenters to join our client's passive fire teams, focusing on remedials or installations in occupied domestic properties. Work is Monday to Friday in the Dudley area.

This ongoing contract offers weekly pay and potential for pricework to increase earnings, with long-term temp-to-perm opportunity and support from a dedicated recruiter.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in relevant trade.
• Experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Awareness of fire regulation within carpentry & fire doors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out remedials on fire doors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and communal areas in tower blocks.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties.
• Complete remedial works in line with H&S policies and regulations.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout visits.

About the Role:

Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fire door carpenters to join our client's passive fire teams, focussing on either remedials or installations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day upgrades and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of remedials on firedoors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and also communal areas in tower blocks across the City.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties
• Complete necessary remedial works in line with company H&S Policies and ensuring they are compliant to regulations.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits.

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade
• Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Awareness of fire regulation within carpentry & fire doors
