Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting Temporary Warehouse Operatives for a furniture relocation project in Darley Dale. You will join a small team moving furniture, photography props and studio equipment between sites and help set everything up at the new premises.

This hands-on role suits physically fit individuals with a proactive attitude and clearance for heavy lifting. Previous warehouse/removals experience is desirable, and basic hand tools experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, labouring, removals or production experience desirable.
• Physically fit with a proactive attitude.
• Experience using basic hand tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist relocation of furniture and studio props
• Empty and clear an eight-storey mill building
• Load, unload and move stock between sites
• Safely lift and carry furniture and equipment
• Assemble furniture and storage units at the new site
• Organise stock and keep sites clean and safe
