Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd in Chesterfield is hiring a Warehouse Operative on the Afters Shift, paying £12.71 per hour. This temp-to-perm role offers an immediate start and long-term, stable work in a busy warehouse, production and refurbishment facility.

The successful candidate will work on packing, refurbishment prep, quality checks, and stock organisation, with Monday–Wednesday 14:15–22:45, Thursday 13:30–21:30, Friday 08:30–16:30, and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, refurbishment or packing experience
• Good attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and within a team
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Removing labels from products ready for shot blasting and refurbishment
• Filling, testing and preparing products for rework
• Carrying out pressure testing and quality control inspections
• Painting and finishing refurbished products
• Packing, repacking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Stock organisation and general warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading products (up to 15kg)
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
