Job summary

Classroom Talent is working with a high-achieving secondary school in the Bishop's Stortford area to appoint a Religious Studies Teacher. The role is a full-time, long-term supply position starting ASAP until Christmas 2026, with a pathway to a fixed-term contract from January to July 2027.

The post requires UK QTS or QTLS (or on route), the ability to teach RS across KS3 and KS4 with GCSE delivery, and a passion for Religious Studies.

Qualifications

• Must have UK QTS or QTLS, or be in the process of gaining QTS.
• Able to teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4, with GCSE delivery.
• ECTs welcome to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice.
• Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Teach RS across KS3 and KS4 with GCSE delivery where appropriate.
• Deliver engaging, high-quality Religious Studies lessons.
• Contribute to a well-run RS department and school culture.
