Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Religious Studies Teacher for a secondary school in Redcar on a full-time basis from September. The role requires delivering RS across KS3 and KS4 with strong subject knowledge and KS3/KS4 experience. QTS is desirable, and classroom management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 in a secondary setting.
• Excellent classroom management and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Teach RS across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, deliver and differentiate lessons.
• Support students' knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of religious and ethical issues.
• Prepare KS4 students for examinations.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Contribute to the Humanities/RS Department.
• Build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
