Wayman Education in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Teacher of Religious Studies to join a supportive secondary school. You will deliver RS across KS3 and KS4, guiding pupils through beliefs, ethics and philosophy while developing critical writing and exam skills.

The ideal candidate holds QTS and a relevant RS/RE/Theology qualification, demonstrates strong subject knowledge, and is committed to safeguarding. This permanent, full-time role offers progression opportunities at a supportive school.

Formación

• Holds QTS and a relevant RS, RE, Theology or related qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching secondary pupils.
• Ability to facilitate balanced discussions on challenging topics.
• Experience using assessment and feedback to drive progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver RS lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach religious beliefs, ethical debates and philosophical questions.
• Develop pupils' extended writing, evaluation and examination skills.
• Assess work regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom where pupils can explore different viewpoints respectfully.
