Job summary

Protocol Education are recruiting for a Religious Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Redcar on a full-time basis from September.

You will teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging, differentiated lessons and support students to develop knowledge and critical thinking about religious and ethical issues. The role is full-time with a focus on high standards of behaviour and progress within the Humanities department.

Qualifications

• QTS desirable or QTLS equivalence.
• Strong subject knowledge in RS.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Commitment to student potential.
• Ability to plan engaging inclusive lessons.

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Religious Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Redcar on a full-time basis from September.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured and differentiated lessons
• Support students to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of religious and ethical issues
• Prepare KS4 students effectively for examinations
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and engagement
• Contribute positively to the wider Humanities/RS Department
• Build strong, professional relationships with students and colleagues

• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies
