Job summary

The governors of an oversubscribed 11-16 voluntary aided RC high school are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of RE on a maternity cover. You will join a forward-looking team and have opportunities to influence students at a pivotal stage of their education.

Qualifications

• Qualified teachers with QTS and Catholic ethos preferred.
• Experience of diverse learners and ability to raise attainment.
• Willingness to contribute to school life and safeguarding commitments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality RE lessons to 11-16 students with engaging differentiation.
• Assess, monitor and track progress, providing timely intervention when needed.
• Support the Catholic ethos and safeguarding policies within the school community.
