Education Personnel are working with a progressive Nottingham secondary school to recruit a dedicated RE Teacher for an immediate start or January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 teaching for experienced RE specialists.

You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons while contributing to SMSC development and department improvement. The ideal candidate holds QTS, has at least 6 months RE teaching experience in a UK secondary setting, and will bring strong behaviour management and

• QTS with UK secondary school experience required.
• Minimum 6 months' RE teaching experience in a UK secondary school.

Responsabilités

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 RE curriculum, with KS5 teaching possible for experienced candidates.
• Plan, prepare, and assess Religious Studies and Ethics lessons.
• Monitor student progress and facilitate respectful classroom debate.
• Contribute to RE department improvement planning and SMSC development.
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required.
