Job summary

Education Personnel are working with a progressive Nottingham secondary school to recruit a dedicated RE Teacher for an immediate start or January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 teaching for experienced RE specialists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 RE curriculum, with KS5 teaching possible for experienced candidates.
• Plan, prepare, and assess Religious Studies and Ethics lessons.
• Monitor student progress and facilitate respectful classroom debate.
• Contribute to RE department improvement planning and SMSC development.
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required.
