Position Type: Temporary, Full-time

Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale point £31,650 to £49,084.

Teaching Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Religious Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Stockport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to secondary school students (KS3 & KS4).
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages open dialogue and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and promote student success.
  • Support the pastoral development of students and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) essential.
  • Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
