Job summary

LiveWest is seeking Relief Youth Development Workers to support young people aged 16-25 on Schemes in West Cornwall. You will help residents manage tenancy, understand benefits and build life skills like budgeting and wellbeing.

Roles include on-site lone or collaborative shifts at Davy House, Coach House, Redruth Foyer and Carn Brea Foyer. The post is relief-based, with flexible days and on-site duties, and will require safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience of lone working.
• Ability to assess and manage risk.
• Skills to support individuals.
• Understanding of adult vulnerabilities in a supported housing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to manage tenancy and daily living.
• Encourage budgeting, wellbeing and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, safety and welfare on site.
• Adapt to flexible on-site lone or team shifts as required.
