An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Relief Ward Clerk to join our team, and work on various wards within Scarborough Hospital.
The working days are Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 08:00 - 16:00, however you may be required to work 07:00 - 15:00 or 12.00 - 20.00 occasionally depending on which ward you are covering on.

This fast paced environment provides care for patients admitted from GP consultations and clinic appointments within the hospital, and via the Emergency Department. The successful applicant will be expected to cover all wards across the hospital. Interested applicants must have excellent communication skills, be a good team player and enjoy meeting and working with the public. Computer skills are also a requirement for the position and NHS experience would be an advantage; however, full training will be given to the successful applicant on use of the hospital computer systems.
