Job summary

South Staffordshire Swim Academy is recruiting for Water Assistant relief posts based at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre. You will assist in delivering STA Learn to Swim lessons to learners from 3 years to adults under supervision.

No formal experience is required; you must be a competent swimmer and willing to obtain STA Level 2 Safety Award or NRASTC. DBS checks apply, and hours are relief-based.

Qualifications

• No formal experience or qualifications required.
• Must be a competent swimmer with willingness to hold STA Level 2 Safety Award for Teachers or NRASTC (RLSS).
• Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant acceptable for this post.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Hours are relief basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist and deliver safe, fun and effective swimming lessons.
• Work with children from 3 years to adults under supervision of a qualified Swim Teacher.
• Follow the STA International Learn to Swim programme.
