Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Rochdale – OL12.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives.
This service supports two gentlemen who live together. They are both full of life and love a busy setting, being around people. One gentleman requires a wheelchair 24/7. The other can move around his home but requires a wheelchair at meal times and when leaving the house. Full support is needed for both. They both enjoy interaction through music, toys, balls, etc. A drive out in their van is a favorite activity for both.
What we're looking for:
Due to the location of the service and the need to drive PWS vehicles, this role requires you to be a driver. (with a FULL UK Driving Licence and able to drive manual vehicles)
Contract options:
All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your personal and social life!
