Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Relief Support Worker at Saltgreen's Residential Home in Eyemouth. The casual/relief role involves providing person-centred practical and emotional support, assisting with personal care and daily activities, and ensuring safe medication administration under training.

Qualifications include SVQ2 or equivalent (desirable). PVG Adults checks will be arranged, and the council supports SSSC registration.

Formación

• SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
• PVG Adults - we will do this for you! SSSC registered.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
• Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way.
• Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
• Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training.
