Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Relief Night Support Worker at Saltgreen's Residential Home to provide person-centred practical and emotional support. The role includes assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and medication administration, underpinned by individual care plans.

Salary £14.37–£15.10 per hour (£27,739.05–£29,147.42 pro rata per annum) with a 15% night enhancement from 10pm–6am. PVG and SSSC registration supported; training provided.

Qualifications

• SVQ2 or equivalent desirable but not essential.
• You can earn whilst you learn!
• PVG Adults – we will do this for you! SSSC registered.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
• Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way.
• Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
• Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training.
