Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Lincoln is seeking Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team. You’ll support individuals with learning disabilities, assist with daily activities and provide emotional support, helping them lead more independent lives.

You must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays and be able to provide personal care. DBS check is required; sleep-ins may be offered with enhanced pay across Lincoln and North Hykeham.

Job description

Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Lincoln.

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

You must be able to provide personal care, as this is a requirement of the role.

Drivers are required as support is provided throughout Lincoln and North Hykeham

Shift times

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

Shifts will include weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. Sleep‑ins are non contractual and you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20
