Orkney Islands Council is seeking a Relief Social Care Worker to support residents at Kirkujvagr House. You will perform delegated social and domestic care tasks, observe strict confidentiality, and assist with personal care in line with Care Inspectorate standards.

The role requires SVQ2 in Social Care, with SVQ3 to enable SSSC registration within 3 years. You may work unsocial hours and travel across Orkney as required.

Formación

• SVQ2 or equivalent in Social Care is required.
• SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent enabling SSSC registration within 3 years.
• Registration with SSSC or progress towards it is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out tasks and duties delegated by senior staff in social and domestic care.
• Observe confidentiality and ensure safety and comfort of service users.
• Assist with personal care in line with Care Inspectorate standards.
• Travel between Orkney work locations to meet service needs.
• Work unsocial hours on a rota as required.
