Job summary

Wilson James is seeking a Relief Security Officer in Milton Keynes on a permanent, part-time basis (120 hours monthly) at £13.68 per hour. The role involves guarding, patrolling, monitoring CCTV and access points, and responding to alarms while maintaining a professional environment for staff and visitors.

We require a valid SIA licence and proven security experience, with strong observation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current valid DS SIA Licence.
• Proven experience in a security role.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome staff and visitors and maintain a professional environment.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access.
• Monitor access points, CCTV and security procedures.
• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly.
• Complete detailed incident reports.
• Assist in emergencies, evacuations and first aid if required.
• Adapt to different client sites.
• Work as part of a diverse team.
• Respond calmly to incidents.
