Job summary

ICTS is seeking a Relief Security Officer to protect a high-profile client site and ensure a safe, secure environment. You will manage access, patrol premises, and respond to requests, while maintaining professional presentation and customer care.

The role involves flexibility to cover holiday and sickness, with opportunities for full training, uniform, and health & safety support. Strong IT skills and experience in security are essential for success.

Qualifications

• SIA DS or SG licence is required.
• Proven background in security, ideally corporate.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Competent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High standard of personal presentation.
• Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Patrol buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect issues.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and queries.
• Check and challenge ID passes in a professional and friendly manner.
• Activate/deactivate alarms and lock/unlock buildings, rooms, gates, and barriers.
• Identify and report Health & Safety concerns and administer first aid if required.
• Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, using computer and paper-based systems.
