Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Relief Security Officer for a key site in Brough. The role involves patrolling, monitoring CCTV and access points, and responding to alarms and incidents to keep staff and visitors safe.

You'll work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (days, nights, weekends) with driving duties and a commitment to high-security standards. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• 5-year checkable work history
• Born British National or held a British passport for at least 5 years
• Able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Smart, reliable, and proactive approach

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular site patrols and perimeter checks
• Record and report incidents clearly and accurately
• Monitor and manage site access points
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems effectively
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency services
• Follow all client-specific protocols and security procedures
