Responsibilities

• Display an outstanding level of customer service.
• Prevent and deter unauthorized access to non-public areas.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as instructed.
• Perform locking and unlocking duties as instructed.
• Assist employees and visitors with concerns.
• Manage equipment according to procedures.
• Support and guide staff, visitors, and contractors while safeguarding premises.
• Ensure proper accreditation for building access.
• Keep walkways and emergency escape routes clear.
• Respond to and investigate fire and intruder alarms.
• Report property at risk of loss, theft, damage, or vandalism.
• Conduct initial investigations and report incidents and suspicious activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and discuss with managers.
• Escalate emergencies to law enforcement as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence
• Willing to work Relief / Ad-Hoc hours, available on short notice
• At least 1 year experience in a similar security role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High levels of written and verbal communication skills
• Comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history in accordance with BS7858 standards
