Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Relief Security Officer to join our team in Newark/Nottingham. The role carries a pay rate of £13.67 per hour and requires flexibility to work days and nights as needed.

You will start on a temporary basis with transfer to our client after 12 weeks, subject to successful performance and training. Key responsibilities include maintaining site security, monitoring risks, reporting hazards, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor license is essential.
• Must be reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Physically fit to undertake security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site security in line with instructions and policies.
• Monitor risks, respond to incidents and report hazards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and complete required training.
• Maintain accurate records and address escape issues as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols and follow safety procedures.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Maintain site security in line with Assignment instructions and company policies
• Monitor for risks, respond to incidents, and report health and safety hazards
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and complete required training
• Maintain accurate records and escape issues when necessary
• You will be given full training for continuous self development
• Conduct regular patrols and ensure adherence to all safety procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License- Door supervisor essential
• Must be reliable
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
