Responsibilities

• Provide flexible cover during periods of holiday, sickness and absence, ensuring service standards are maintained at all times.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across residential, retail, and public areas.
• Carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks, respond promptly to spillages and hazards to ensure a safe environment.
• Support waste management and recycling initiatives in line with site procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively and keep materials clean and organized.
• Complete cleaning schedules, inspections and required documentation, reporting issues as necessary.
• Support preparation and presentation of the development during events and peak periods.
• Provide a professional, customer-friendly service to residents, visitors, retailers and colleagues.

About the Role

As a Relief Cleaning Operative, you'llplay a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentationacross this exciting new destination. Working across retail, residential andpublic spaces, you'll carry out routine and reactive cleaning duties, supportwaste management activities, and help create a clean, safe and welcomingenvironment for everyone who visits, lives or works at The Elephant.

In this role, you willbe required to support the cleaning team by being flexible and reliable tocover shifts as required, including working avariety of shifts and hours to meet operational needs.

Duties Include:

• Provide flexible cover during periods of holiday,sickness and absence , ensuring service standards are maintained at alltimes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanlinessacross residential, retail, and public areas,.
• Carry out routine, deep cleaningtasks, responding promptly to spillages, hazards, and cleanliness issues toensure a safe environment for all site users.
• Support waste management and recyclinginitiatives, including the collection and disposal of waste in line with siteprocedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely andeffectively, ensuring all equipment and cleaning materials are maintained in aclean and organised condition.
• Complete cleaning schedules,inspections, and required documentation, reporting defects, maintenance issues,and health & safety concerns as necessary.
• Support the preparation andpresentation of the development during events, peak periods, and otheroperational activities.
• Provide a professional and customerfriendly service to residents, visitors, retailers, and colleagues, helping tocreate a welcoming environment.
• Workcollaboratively with Security, Maintenance, and Management teams whilecomplying with Health & Safety, COSHH, and all site procedures

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience within commercial,residential, retail or facilities environments.
• Flexible to provide shift cover as and whenrequired.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride inmaintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach towork.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.
