Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Relief Security Officer for Knottingley, West Yorkshire, in a temporary relief role covering holidays, sickness and busy periods with shifts that vary to meet business needs. £12.84 per hour.

You will manage entry for visitors and contractors, perform gatehouse duties, monitor site security, complete incident reports, verify bookings, respond to incidents, support the wider on-site operation and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• SIA licence is required.
• Strong communication and IT literacy.

Mitie is looking for reliable, adaptable individuals to join our security operations at a busy logistics site in Knottingley.

This is a temporary relief position providing cover for holidays, sickness, vacancies, and additional operational requirements. Shifts and hours will vary based on business needs, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work within a professional security environment.

You'll support a range of duties across the site, helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers.

Valid SIA Licence
