Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting Relief Security Officers to support the DWP contract across Merseyside. This role covers Liverpool, Southport, Wirral and surrounding areas, with day shifts and varied hours as colleagues go on holiday or are absent.

You will patrol sites, control access, respond to incidents, liaise with emergency services and document reports, while enjoying Mitie's flexible benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA DS licence is required.
• Prior security experience is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence or access to own vehicle; willingness to travel between Merseyside locations.
• Able to work day shifts and cover flexible hours.

Shifts: Day shifts, typically Monday–Saturday, with occasional Sunday work

Mitie is recruiting Relief Security Officers to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) contract across Merseyside. This is a great opportunity to join a large, established organisation.

As a Relief Officer, you will cover for full time colleagues during holidays, sickness, and last‑minute absences, so weekly hours will vary depending on business needs.
