Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection LIMITED is seeking an experienced Relief Security Officer to cover prestigious corporate and static sites in Birmingham City Centre and surrounding areas. The role involves daytime, night, and weekend shifts with a payrate of £13.23 per hour.

You will greet visitors, conduct security procedures, perform patrols, log incidents, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a visible security presence and ensuring life safety systems are monitored.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-year history of work/education (checkable).
• Valid SIA SG or DS Licence is required.
• Valid CCTV Licence is required.
• Ability to work on own initiative and stay proactive.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties and greeting visitors.
• Write accurate incident reports promptly and maintain security presence.
• Knowledge of life safety systems and log alarms/information.
• Respond to site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Unlock/lock procedures.
• Handle any other reasonable requests.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Reception Duties
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high -profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Unlock/lock.
• Any other reasonable requests.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You must be able to work on your own initiative
• Full 5year checkable work/education history
• Valid SIA SG or DS Licence
• Valid CCTV Licence
