Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking an experienced Relief Security Officer to cover prestigious corporate and static sites in Birmingham City Centre and surrounding areas. Shifts include days, nights and weekends, with a payrate of £13.23 per hour or site rate.

The role involves reception duties, incident reporting, alarm checks, and patrolling. Must hold valid SIA SG/DS and CCTV licences, have 5 years of checkable history, and be able to work on own initiative. Uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• You must be able to work on your own initiative.
• Full 5-year checkable work/education history is required.
• Valid SIA SG or DS Licence is required.
• Valid CCTV Licence is required.
• Uniform is supplied.
• Access to in-house training (SIA and First Aid) is provided.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties on site and greet visitors while enforcing security procedures.
• Write accurate incident reports promptly and provide a visible security presence.
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrol premises and secure access points.
• Unlock/lock tasks and other reasonable requests.

MAN Commercial Protection are looking for an experienced Relief Security Officer to cover prestigious, corporate and static sites in Birmingham City Centre and the surrounding area.

Shift pattern: Days, Nights and Weekends

Payrate: £13.23ph or site rate.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Reception Duties
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high -profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Unlock/lock.
• Any other reasonable requests.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You must be able to work on your own initiative
• Full 5year checkable work/education history
• Valid SIA SG or DS Licence
• Valid CCTV Licence
• Full uniform supplied
• Access to inhouse training (SIA and First Aid)
• Double pay on Bank Holidays
